A Diesel and Motor Mechanic is responsible for maintenance and repairs of engines and vehicles. TRADE TEST QUALIFICATION – On the completion of this qualification, a successful candidate can obtain a trade test qualification in industry.
Career Opportunities:
Diesel and motor mechanics are often employed in the transport or construction industry. Other Mechanics may work in automotive workshops working on private vehicles.
N1 Level: Passed Grade 9 & 10
N2 Level: Passed Grade 10 & 11
N3 level:
1) National Certificate (Matric) or its equivalent qualification with a pass in the following subjects:
English language level 3 (40% above) Pure Mathematics level 3 (40% above) Physical Science level 3 (40% above)
