Plumbing-refers to the skilled trade which installs and maintains the system of pipes, drains, fittings, valves, and fixtures installed for the distribution of potable water for drinking, heating and washing, and waterborne waste removal. TRADE TEST QUALIFICATION – On the completion of this qualification, a successful candidate can obtain a trade test qualification in industry.


Career Opportunities:

They install and perform work on many different pipe systems from water treatment plants that service an entire town to skyscrapers to homes. They might also work on waste removal, gas, or climate control systems. Pipes are used in all of these different areas, plus they are used to hold steam to power turbine engines, or in industrial facilities to transport materials. They are also used in creating computer chips and medicine

N1 Level: Passed Grade 9 & 10 

N2 Level: Passed Grade 10 & 11 

N3 level:

1) National Certificate (Matric) or its equivalent qualification with a pass in the following subjects:
English language level 3 (40% above) Pure Mathematics level 3 (40% above) Physical Science level 3 (40% above) 

2) Have passed N2
