Electrical engineers design, develop and maintain electrical control systems and/or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability. They design and manufacture electrical equipment for use across many sectors. Electrical and electronics engineering graduates have a wealth of favourable job opportunities.

More than 25% of engineering jobs are in electrical engineering and business consulting firm government agencies manufacturers of electrical, electronic, computer and office equipment manufacturers of industrial machinery, manufacturers of professional and scientific instrument.

1) National Certificate (Matric) or its equivalent qualification with a pass in the following subjects:

English Language level 3 (40% above)

Pure Mathematics level 4 (50% above)

Physical Science level 4 (50% above)

2) Have passed minimum of four modules in National certificate N3 with Engineering Science and Mathematics in a recognized institution.

DIRECT ADMISSION INTO:
N5 level: Have successfully passed N4 in the same field of studies.

N6 level: Have successfully passed N5 in the same field of studies.
